Ten Years United, Building the Future — CCCA Hosts Grand 10th Anniversary Charity Awards Ceremony
On March 7, 2026, the Canadian Chinese Construction Association (CCCA) held its 10th Anniversary Celebration and Charity Awards Gala at the Hilton Convention Centre in Markham. The event, themed "Ten Years of Shared Dedication, Building Dreams for the Future," reviewed the association's achievements in promoting exchange and cooperation between the Canadian and Chinese construction industries over the past decade and looked ahead to future development opportunities for the industry.


As a highly influential annual event in the Canadian Chinese construction industry, this celebration brought together officials from the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Toronto, officials from the Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal governments, representatives from hundreds of construction and related companies, and nearly a thousand industry professionals. The event included industry forums, company exhibitions, annual industry awards ceremonies, charity fundraising, and cultural performances. In the presence of all the guests, the conference held an honorary president awarding ceremony for former Senator Victor Oh and an unveiling ceremony for the Quebec-Canada-China Construction and Real Estate Association (CCCA). The celebration reached its climax with the unveiling of a birthday cake symbolizing CCCA's 10th anniversary, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.

On the afternoon of the celebration, the association also hosted an industry exhibition and business forum. The forum focused on topics such as construction finance, development policy, risk management, and smart communities. Ontario MPP John Pang, Markham City Councillor John Lee, as well as representatives from construction developers, financial institutions, engineers, and industry consultants shared their insights, providing attendees with professional perspectives and in-depth exchanges.
