On Saturday, April 19, 2025, the 9th Annual Meeting and Bakerloo Night Industry Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Canada-China Architects Association (CCCA), was held at the Hilton Convention Centre in Markham. This was not only an annual grand event for the architecture industry, but also a dazzling evening that brought together glory, responsibility, and dreams, showcasing the cohesion and innovative power of the Chinese Canadian architecture community.

As one of the most prestigious and influential annual brand events in the Chinese architecture community, the event attracted over a hundred political figures and community leaders, nearly a thousand industry elites, business representatives, and mainstream media to its exhibition booths, architecture forum, and charity awards gala. The red carpet area was dazzling with lights and star power as core members of the Canada-China Architecture Association, invited dignitaries, and guests from various sectors walked the red carpet in impeccable attire, exuding confidence and leaving behind countless memorable moments, setting a solemn and magnificent tone for this historic evening.

As the audience stood at attention, the national anthems of China and Canada were solemnly played. With the familiar melody, the event officially commenced. Following this, Raymond Wan, Founding President and Supervisor of the Canada-China Architectural Association, Alex Huang, the current President, and Sir Robert Lee, Honorary President and the 24th Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, delivered speeches. They reviewed the association's nine-year history and expressed their hopes for the continued deepening of Sino-Canadian architectural cooperation.

The gathering of political and business leaders was a major highlight of the evening. During the dinner, the association presented four annual awards to outstanding companies and individuals in the construction industry, in a well-organized and solemn manner.

At this year's annual meeting, the association joined hands with the Yee Hong Foundation to create a heartwarming chapter in philanthropy. Board members and guests generously donated, pooling their love and support, and ultimately raising CAD 10,000.

Yee Hong Foundation President Hsien Yang and manager Cathy Zhou accepted the checks on stage. Richmond Hill Deputy Mayor Chih-Hui Chen, Markham Ward 6 Councillor Yee-Ching Yang, Canada-China Real Estate Investment Foundation President Chih-Feng Sun, and Tridel Vice President Kuei-Hsiang Chen witnessed this heartwarming moment. The atmosphere was warm and filled with applause. Every donation carried the deep affection of the builders, conveying care and blessings for the elderly.

As a major highlight of this year's annual meeting, the event consists of four main sections: a small-scale exhibition and exchange meeting, an architecture industry forum, a social networking event, and an annual dinner. The event is rich in content, fast-paced, and comprehensively showcases the vitality of the industry's development.

The exhibition area opened at 3:30 p.m. Companies such as Becklow, BESSO, MR.
