Speech by Alex Huang, President of the Canada-China Architectural Association
Founding President and Supervisor of the Canada-China Architectural AssociationRaymond WanIn his speech, he stated that against the backdrop of a sluggish real estate market and a pressured economic environment, the association hopes to leverage its tenth anniversary to fully demonstrate its capabilities.The Canada-China Architectural Association's platform advantage lies in its long history and significant influence within the Canadian Chinese architectural community.They engaged in in-depth exchanges with representatives from the federal, provincial, and municipal governments, as well as key decision-makers such as investment institutions, developers, contractors, and designers, to further boost industry confidence and expand opportunities for high-quality business cooperation.
Raymond Wan, Founding President and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of the Canada-China Architectural Association, delivered a speech.
Judy Xie, Head of Aero Future Canada (AF-C) Inc., the theme sponsor, stated that the company, founded in 2021, is a leading provider of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system platforms and mission services in Canada, maintaining long-term and stable partnerships with relevant Canadian government agencies, Indigenous communities, and major logistics partners. Currently, AF-C is collaborating with Transport Canada to advance UAV operational testing. The company is committed to providing safe, stable, and scalable UAV solutions for civilian applications such as reconnaissance and surveillance, forest fire fighting and emergency rescue, logistics and medical delivery, and infrastructure inspection. In the future, AF-C plans to promote the large-scale production and application of high-performance low-altitude UAVs in Canada, improving industry efficiency through an integrated model of "platform + operation + training + mission services," supporting smart community development, and improving residents' quality of life and community well-being. To date, dignitaries who have sent congratulatory letters or confirmed their attendance at the Canada-China Architectural Association's 10th anniversary celebration include: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, former Senator Victor Oh, Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Richmond Hill Mayor David West, and Vaughan Mayor Steven Del Duca, among others.
For the past ten years, the Canada-China Building Association has been actively promoting the industry and giving back to the community. The tenth anniversary gala will also raise funds for the renowned Canadian charity, the Mon Sheung Foundation. LoveOnly, a prominent diamond retailer, has donated diamonds worth CAD 50,000 for the charity raffle that evening. At the press conference, Ms. Chen Xuelan, Director of Development and Communications at the Mon Sheung Foundation, highly praised the Canada-China Building Association's member companies, "Hong Fung Windows & Doors" and "Air Tree Water Purification Systems," for their professional construction work on the Mon Sheung Pavilion, and presented President Alex with a calligraphy piece bearing the character "福" (fortune/blessing).

It is understood that the Canada-China Architectural Association will also hold a concurrent event on the afternoon of the 10th anniversary celebration. [2026 Construction Industry Forum]The forum will focus on cutting-edge issues in the Canadian construction and real estate development sector, covering several key themes, including:
- The Development and Practice of New Drone Communities in Canada;
- Registered professional planners create core value for builders and developers;
- The latest revisions and development trends of policies related to main street development and multi-unit buildings;
- How to leverage the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) to support the development of multi-family residential and condominium projects;
- Analysis of the key aspects of "three connections and one leveling" in real estate development and industrial and commercial construction;
- Application of construction performance guarantee and construction period project insurance in project risk management.
On the evening of the celebration, in addition to a variety of wonderful cultural performances and a generous lucky draw, a grand industry honors award ceremony will be held to pay high tribute to outstanding representatives who have made outstanding contributions to the field of architecture.
